This video demonstrates Mx in a case of congenital cataract with a strange red reflex. Manual dry aspiration was done after CCC, only to discover a large pre-existing gap in the posterior capsule, much like a surgical PCCC. Anterior vitrectomy was done. The anterior capsular CCC was enlarged and an implant could be placed securely in the capsular bag.
